Hospital beds per 1,000 people vs. GDP per capita, 2019

Hospital beds include inpatient beds available in public, private, general, and specialized hospitals and rehabilitation centers. In most cases beds for both acute and
chronic care are included.

GDP per capita is measured in constant international-$. This means it is adjusted for price differences between countries and adjusted for inflation to allow
comparisons between countries and over time.
