Categories coded as: 0 = marriage prohibited under 18 without exceptions; 0.25 = marriage prohibited under 18 without exceptions, but some customary or traditional
laws encourage girl marriage; 0.5 = marriage prohibited under 18 but there are legal exceptions regarding consent and/or some groups of women; 0.75 = marriage
allowed under 18 for boys and girls; 1 = marriage allowed under 18 for girls but not boys.
