Human capital is calculated as the discounted value of lifetime earnings. Natural capital is the sum of values of timber,non-timber, protected areas, land, and sub-soil
assets (i.e. fossil fuels and minerals). Produced capital is calculated as the value of structures, machinery, and equipment, and also accounts for the value of urban
land. Net foreign assets are a measure of the cross-border assets and liabilities held by a country's residents.
