Official entrance age to pre-primary education, 2016

Age at which students would enter pre-primary education assuming they progress through pre-primary education for its entire official duration and start at the official
entrance age for primary education. The official primary entry age, in turn, is the age at which children are obliged to start primary education according to national
legislation or policies. Where more than one age is specified, for example, in different parts of a country, UNESCO stipulates the use the most common official entry
age (i.e. the age at which most children in the country are expected to start primary).
