Total tax revenue (%GDP) vs State effectiveness, 2013

Total tax revenue includes social contributions, direct and indirect taxes. State effectiveness is measured through scores across four dimensions: Security
Effectiveness, Political Effectiveness, Economic Effectiveness, and Social Effectiveness. Scores are obtained via a process involving content analysis, quantitative
data, and qualitative review. Higher scores correspond to lower state effectiveness.
