Share of urban and rural population living in poverty by national poverty lines, India, 1993 to 2011

National poverty headcount ratio is the percentage of the population living below the national poverty lines. National estimates are based on population-weighted
subgroup estimates from household surveys. This is shown as a share of the total population, as well as the share in urban and rural areas below the national poverty
line.
