Our World in Data is now tracking Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccinations across the world

Our World in Data presents the data and research to make progress against the world’s largest problems.
This blog post draws on data and research discussed in our coverage of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic we have been tracking a range of vital metrics: cases, deaths, testing, hospitalizations and policy responses.

In December, we started tracking another essential metric: COVID-19 vaccinations.

Since the first announcement of vaccines administered by the United Kingdom in early December, Our World in Data has been building the first global database of vaccinations across the world. Many hundred media outlets and researchers rely on this data already, and we will continue to keep this up-to-date with the latest figures for all countries over the coming months.

You can find all the data — total vaccinations administered, per capita vaccinations, daily vaccination rates, and policies on our COVID-19 Vaccination page.

[Vaccination metrics have also been added to our Coronavirus Data Explorer and our Complete COVID-19 Dataset on GitHub].
