In this page we provide data on hospitalizations and intensive care (ICU) admissions due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). The data here is sourced from the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), who provide these statistics only for a select number of European countries, the government of the United Kingdom, the Department of Health & Human Services for the United States, the COVID-19 Tracker for Canada, the Ministry of Health for Algeria, the Ministry of Health for Israel, the Federal Office of Public Health for Switzerland, the government of Serbia, and the government of Malaysia.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide data on hospitalizations for other countries. There is currently no global, aggregated database on COVID-19 hospitalization, and our team at Our World in Data does not have the capacity to build such a dataset. All data on hospitalizations is updated daily.

A quick reminders on what data is available for ICU admissions

Unlike confirmed cases and deaths, hospitalization data is only available for a select number of European countries and the United States from these sources.
