Dietary land use vs. GDP per capita, 2013

The share of global habitable land which would be required for agriculture if everyone in the world adopted the average diet of a given country versus gross domestic
product (GDP) per capita, measured in constant international-$. We currently use approximately 50% of habitable land for agriculture, as shown by the horizontal line.
