Extreme poverty rate vs. poverty gap, 2019

The extreme poverty rate is the share of people living below the International Poverty Line of 1.90 international-$ per day. The poverty gap index is the mean shortfall
from that poverty line counting the non-poor as having zero shortfall, and expressed as a percentage of the poverty line.
